in the world of pretence its always a challenge not to be one. and its hard to do that.
people pretend for various reasons to make others happy, to make themseles happy, and for time pass sake when they don't even know they are pretending.
i said its hard because ppl are scared to reveal or be seen bare, naked, and so vulnerable, when the truth bout a person is out for all to see. its easy at that time to pull a mask over your face to avoid being judged... easy to pretend.
in one word, i hate it...
In other word, I'd say...Just be yourself...
Your post makes me belive that you are very much confused with 'pretention' and 'illusion'...
There is a huge difference between the two...being pretentious is being someone you are not and being someone who you wanted be(a wannabe) and illusion is a place where you believe youself to be someone who in reality doesnt exist....
and calm down dude....reality continues to ruin our lives....
